Hi all!  My name is Lori.  I don't have Fibromyalgia, but I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis.  After my son was born, I had a major flare of my RA, which prompted me (well, really my husband got me going) to start a website for moms with RA (momswithra.org).  The website has allowed me (and I hope others) a good opportunity to share experiences and feel supported (often times when it seems nobody else quite understands).

Anyway, as a result, we've had requests to start another site for moms with Fibromyalgia.  Here's the deal though.... I don't know very much about Fibromyalgia.  I certainly don't know anything near what I know about RA.  So, I need help.  We need your input.  I've been told that Fibromyalgia is kind of a new diagnosis and that not all doctors or insurances recognize it.  We want to hear your stories.  Did you get a diagnosis?  Are you getting treatment?  What kind?  Is it helpful?  What has the financial impact been?  We'd love to put your story up on the website to help others in similar circumstances.  Please check out our Contact Us page and drop us a line!

I needed a place to find information and hear about other people's experiences, so I hope this means that people with Fibromyalgia do too.

Please kick back, read, and enjoy. We are open to suggestions on improving our site.  Drop us a line!!!

- Lori (Cavan's Mom)
